Slips are the main cause of injury from snow and ice. No matter how carefully you shovel and salt, there are still likely to be areas where ice and snow can lead to slippery conditions. Calorique's heated retrofit stair treads eliminate both the ice & snow and provide excellent traction that meets ADA non-slip requirements.

Once the stair treads have been screwed into position, just turn them on when it begins to snow, or when icy conditions become likely. That's all there is to it! The fully enclosed heating elements melt ice and snow without shoveling or chemicals. Controls are even available to make operation completely automatic, so the system operates seamlessly and without human intervention.
